Privacy policy
GleeMeter does not collect, store or sell your survey data. The calculator runs entirely in your browser.
Survey data you enter
Ratings, counts, pasted lists and CSV files stay on your device. The math happens in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else.
Share links
“Copy share link” puts your numbers in the part of the link after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to our server.
Anyone who gets the link can see those numbers, so share it with care.
Cookies and local storage
GleeMeter sets no cookies. It saves one small setting in your browser: your light or dark theme choice.
You can clear that setting at any time in your browser settings.
Services that load with the page
Two outside services play a part when you open GleeMeter.
- Google Fonts. The page loads its fonts from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when the fonts load. The Google Fonts privacy notes explain how Google handles this.
- Netlify, our hosting provider. Like every web host, Netlify keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the time of each visit. These logs help keep the site secure and running. The Netlify privacy policy has the details.
Analytics
GleeMeter does not use analytics or tracking tools today. If we add one, we will update this page first and name the tool.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you, and we never sell or share them.
Children
GleeMeter is a business tool and is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
Laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA may give you rights over your data. Apart from Netlify's server logs, we only hold emails you send us.
Email us to see that data or to have it deleted.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
