About GleeMeter
GleeMeter is a free CSAT calculator for anyone who runs customer surveys. It turns your ratings into a score you can trust and act on.

How the math works
Every number on GleeMeter comes from standard statistics methods. You can check any result by hand, because the calculator shows each step.
CSAT scoreHappy answers ÷ all answers × 100.
Trust rangeThe Wilson score interval at 95% confidence.
Change checkA two proportion z test. A p value under 0.05 counts as a real change.
Answers neededThe standard sample size formula for a percentage at 95% confidence.
Goal plannerSimple algebra on your happy and total counts.
Built for privacy
All math runs in your browser. GleeMeter has no accounts, no sign up and no database. Your survey data never reaches a server. The privacy policy covers the details.
How we write the guide
The guide on the homepage follows a few simple rules.
- Every worked example uses real math that you can open in the calculator.
- Outside figures link to the original source, such as the American Customer Satisfaction Index.
- We do not link to survey software vendors, so the advice stays neutral.
- When a method or source changes, we update the guide and its date.
